Account Monitor – Free Tool developed by Happy Client

We receive a lot of positive feedback from our clients who successfuly use our trading systems (PowerFlow EA, ProFx 3.0 and FxPulse 3.0), but Jim from the United States went even further and developed a very helpful Account Monitoring indicator which we would like to share with you.

Hello Forex21, I am a fan of your PowerFlow EA. Even after one month of live trading I have earned far more than I paid for your Expert Advisor. I like the way your EA makes me money, but I wanted to see more detailed stats and not only those from closed trades. So, I needed a way to monitor account figures and to evaluate the in-trade-action.

After a short evaluation and testing period, we found that Jim's custom indicator is very helpful for automated and manual trading. The indicator displays the following parameters:

  • Draw Down (by the chart symbol)
  • Free Margin
  • Percent Margin
  • Balance
  • Spread (of the chart symbol)

The indicator can run together with PowerFlow EA (or any other EA). According to Jim, the 5 min chart is recommended to get a little more detailed information. Here are some screenshots of how it looks on the chart:

The histogram shows the maximum value seen in a given candle and the minimums. At a glance one can see the real history of any open trades. In addition, an information panel can be displayed to show Open Profit/Loss and the actual account balance.

We hope you too find Jim's Account Monitor indicator useful. Here the download link for the indicator, custom template and a short user guide which explains how to install the indicator:

    Hello,
    I think this is a nice add-on.
    Thank you for it.
    Let me share some experience.
    1. If I use the template, I receive a No license for this account message.
Reapplying the EA solves this problem.
    2. I can see the PercentMargin window only. No DD window.
    What do I wrong?
    How to proceed?
    Please let me know.
    Thank you for your support.
    Best regards

      Hello Laszlo
      1) The no license is not connected with the Account Monitor indicator.
      2) Use the template to load the indicator (DD and PecentMargin window) or attach the Indicator two times to the chart and change the settings according to your own preferences.

      I hope this help :)

nice indicator, but i have 2 comments

    1. i cant change the setting to the template so i cant see DD & percent margin. there is no download button under the Inputs section ( just ok, cancel & reset).

    2. on the right side of the indicator you can see open P/L & Account balance, the color is Lavender and i cant change it. when using a chart with White background it is not clear. so it would be good if the color can be changed to black for example as we hv only the exe (no mql) so we cant change the color from the code.

      Hello Khaled,

      1. i cant change the setting to the template so i cant see DD & percent margin. there is no download button under the Inputs section ( just ok, cancel & reset).

You can change the settings when you click on the “inputs” tab. Additional, you can also make changes to the template and save it as custom template.

      2. on the right side of the indicator you can see open P/L & Account balance, the color is Lavender and i cant change it.

Unfortunately the color of the font is hard coded and cannot be changed.

      Regards, Alexander
